Student Orientation

Before beginning a study program in Abbotsford, you’ll attend a three-day orientation to help you adjust to life in Canada, evaluate your ESL needs, and meet our International Assistants and other students. Orientation topics include:

  • How to achieve academic success in Canadian schools
  • What to expect while attending school in Abbotsford
  • What living with a Canadian family will be like
  • How to share your culture with Canadians while you study in Canada
  • How and where to get help

Before school begins, students have a chance to visit the school they will be attending to get familiar with their new surroundings.
